October 2021 Movie Preview

October is filled with highly-anticipated movies, from horror flicks to remakes of iconic films. Here are the most promising movies coming out this October.

First up is the remake of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”. Stieg Larsson’s original novel was adapted into a 2009 Swedish film, which was then remade into an American film in 2011. The new adaptation will star Claire Foy as Lisbeth Salander, the punk computer hacker with a dark past. The film is set to be released on October 5th in the United Kingdom, and on October 20th in the United States.

Next is “Halloween Kills”, the eleventh installment in the “Halloween” franchise. The film will pick up where the previous one left off, with Michael Myers continuing his killing rampage on Halloween night. “Halloween Kills” is set to be released on October 15th in North America.

On October 22nd, “The Croods 2: A New Age” will be released in theaters worldwide. The sequel to the 2013 animated hit follows the family of cavemen as they encounter a new group of people who claim to be better than them.
